Taronga's Newest Addition
Kambiri
Taronga Zoo is celebrating the arrival of a precious female Pygmy Hippo calf, the first to be reared by its mother at the Zoo in over 20 years.
Her name is 'Kambiri' and she has already started to spend a short amount of time early each morning out and about exploring her exhibit.
If you visit Taronga Zoo before 10am head straight down to Wild Asia and be among the first to catch sight of our new arrival.
By just being a member of Zoo Friends you have helped endangered wildlife and international conservation. This is priceless. So when considering whether you should renew your membership each year, please do so. You are funding critical conservation and education projects.
